Jack Goodman — Creator of Goody Swimwear
I didn’t come from a tragic backstory. No dark spiral, no rock bottom. But I did face something a lot of people quietly battle every day — feeling invisible, despite working like hell.
I was a college athlete, a preferred walk-on at a Division I football program. I trained relentlessly, gave everything I had to earn a shot. But after years of grinding… I never saw a single snap. Three years. Not one play.
Football had been my identity for 21 years — and just like that, it was gone. I was working six-hour shifts after practice just to pay bills. Waking up at 5AM for extra lifts. Believing that if I worked harder than everyone, I’d finally get what I deserved.
Turns out, I wasn’t losing. I was just fighting the wrong battle.
When I stepped away from football, I turned to something I had loved since I was 16 — bodybuilding. It was the fire I had buried for too long out of fear. That decision changed everything.
That choice sparked Goody Swimwear.
Not just a brand — a mindset. A symbol for every man who’s grinding in the shadows. Who’s putting in the work with no spotlight, no applause — just pure hunger.
My mission is simple: to remind men everywhere that your dream isn’t gone — it’s just waiting for you to choose it. Whether you’re 18 or 48, your best self is still possible, only if you chase your dreams and never look back.
Our Mission
Let’s face it — the swimwear industry needs a rebrand.
For too long, it’s been about comfort, coasting, and checking out. But Goody was built for a different kind of person — the one chasing something bigger. The one who’s in the gym at 5AM, building more than just a body — building a legacy.
We don’t wear swimwear to relax. We wear it to represent the grind it took to get here.
Most people dream of becoming part of Goody. Few put in the work to actually earn it.
Earn your look. Grind now. Chill later.
